Virtual Adoption: care you can support from anywhere
Support an animal’s ongoing care even when taking that animal home is not possible or appropriate. Through Virtual Adoption, the animal remains with its organisation while your contribution supports its care.
That can mean daily care for a sanctuary resident or specialist support for wildlife undergoing rehabilitation. Helping an animal can be meaningful wherever you live.
Donations: supporting the work around each animal
Animal care depends on the organisation behind it: its people, facilities, treatment and daily routines. Donations provide a way to support that work and the purpose the organisation describes.
For donation and adoption payments processed through Aniluba, 85% goes to the receiving organisation, 10% to Aniluba and 5% to the Shelter Bonus Fund. See the fee model for a clear €100 example.
Different animals need different futures
A suitable private home is one successful outcome. Lifelong sanctuary care, specialist care, rehabilitation and release are others. Aniluba starts with the species and the individual animal, then connects people with appropriate ways to help.
Animals unsuitable for private ownership follow care and support pathways suited to their welfare. Organisation Transfer is separate from adoption: where lawful, an animal can move to another suitable, eligible organisation. Virtual Adoption can support qualifying animals while they remain in organisational care.
